The 2019 ICEMA Scholarship Application Information

Requirements to be considered for a Scholarship Award:

  • Submit a completed application with signatures. Both the Applicant and the ICEMA Sponsor must sign the application. Applications missing signatures will be denied.

  • Applications must be postmarked by June 15, 2019. Do not mail in any manner requiring signature confirmation. The applications are mailed to P.O. Box and ICEMA will be unable to sign for them.

  • The application must include the following:

    • This form, completed electronically and printed, in its entirety;

    • Transcript(s) from the last semester of school attended (copies will be accepted – certified transcripts are not required); and

    • An essay.

  • The essay shall be at least 200 words on the subject “What is your biggest obstacle for a successful career and how do you plan on overcoming it?”.

  • The ICEMA Member must have been a member in good standing since at least July 1, 2018. **If this is not met then the scholarship will be denied. **

  • Be enrolled in, at minimum, 8 credit hours for the 2019/2020 school year. If your school uses an alternative academic schedule other than the typical 2-semester academic year, please include documentation explaining the school’s alternative schedule.

  • The GPA of the applicant must be at least the equivalent of an accumulative GPA “B” average (3.0 on a 4-point scale). The GPA must be validated on the transcript(s) sent with the application (transcripts missing the accumulative GPA will not be accepted). If your school uses an alternative scale to calculate GPA, please include mentation explaining the school’s alternative grading scale.
